Samuel

Born and raised in Crotone, Italy, at the age of 13 Samuel Comite started his musical career with the Carminia’s Band as a drummer, performing in a number of different club venues and stages around the country. Samuel had an instinctive passion for music and although he started out playing drums for a few years, he soon realizing he had a deep vocal talent.  Through his show performances he gained the reputation as one of the warmest and coolest black/soul voices in the Italian Music Scene, opening and sharing the stage with big international names such Solomon Burke and James Brown. In 2000 he participated in the Soul Poretta Festival, and the peak of his notoriety arrived after the Castrocaro Terme Festival which aired on the italian National TV (Rai Uno).  Samuel reached the final phases and won the 2nd place prize. Lately, he has performed in a number of key festivals like TIM Tour, Miss Italia, and Arezzo Wave to name a few. Since making his tv debute, he has performed on stage with Earth Wind and Fire, Jonny Lang and participated in many Jam sessions with international stars like Harriet Lewis, Mariah Carey (back singer), Harold Bradley, the main voice and director of the Bronzeville Chorus, Ricky Pontera, Pippo Guarnera, Vince Vallicelli, Andrea Braido, Nine Below Zero, Guy Davis, Patrix Duenas, James Thompson, and Herbie Goins. Together with artists such as Daniele Silvestri, Nada e Tronic, Teresa De Sio, Banda Bardò, Parto delle nuvole pesanti, and Mauro Pagani he performs at “Una Casa per Rino”. His talent enabled him to work with one of the most important music manager and talent Scout in Italy, Dino Vitola, executive producer of Zucchero, Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, and Vasco Rossi. Samuel is also a very active and devoted Gospel Singer. In fact, he has collaborated in the New Life Church in Canada, where he recorded on the “Bless the Time” Album. In 2009, Samuel begin his journey into House Music joining THE STYLE, founded by  Italian producer  Giuseppe Crugliano,  and is featured as the main singer of the collaboration project. His 2011 recording debut into soulful house music has been with the release of his smash hit single “Devotion” written and produced by THE STYLE, and published via Twelve Records. The launch of the single, in New York City, at the Sky Room during Maurizio Clemente’s Italo House Story Party captured the attention of the Queen of House Music, Barbara Tucker who invited him on the prestigious Let The Singer Be Heard stage in Miamiduring the 2011 edition of the Winter Music Conference. Samuel is now working on an incredible number of songs, including duets with many international artists such Natasha Watts, with whom he recently recorded a duet entitled, “Give Love A Go,” soon to be released on Twelve Records.
